If I could guarantee that I would never be asked one specific question for the rest of my life I think that question would have to be:
"So, are YOU dating anyone?"
I don’t think I would miss hearing that one.
Oh well.
Let the family date-nagging ensue.
What question would you pick?

On my feed it only shows the first bit of your post, so when I read "never be asked one specific question," without even clicking on it yet, my mind immediately jumped to "Are YOU married? / dating anyone." Haha! I think we both live in Utah. ;-)
hahaha. yeah that is one of the worst questions ever. but once you get past it and finally find your mr right, then the question that's even more annoying is, "so when are you going to have kids?" and that question usually comes from the fam, too. gotta love 'em. :)
The funny thing is, I was thinking this exact same thing today :P I get asked this by everyone pretty much, and it gets so old!! One day...one day....
As much as I hate the dating question, I think it takes a back seat to "Where do you see yourself in five years?" Mostly because I tend to hear it during interviews for jobs I really don't want. But also because I'm pretty sure a super-interwebs virus is going to wipe out civilization within the next year or two and leave us in a post-apocalyptic wasteland. And that just makes me sad.
that's exactly why i don't go to mission reunions anymore. the last one that I went to was a few years ago and I was one of two single guys there...
first three questions were...
so, are you finished with school: no.
are you married: no.
are you dating anyone: no.
but on a funny side note, my mission president's wife told me it was okay...my mission president quickly jumped in and said: 'no it's not'...
at least it's not for lack of effort.
