Fantastic pictures! Who woulda thought that a discarded washer/dryer duo could make a fun prop. You, obviously! I assume that you did some photoshop magic and colorized windows, tiles, etc. Very creative. Love, love, love your style.

When I come to UT next week, I'd love for you to get some pictures of my kids, if you have time.

ahh, where to begin. i was actually a little bummed out when i first saw these photos. i was planning on taking some friends out to the salt flats with brightly color balloons but you basically beat me to it. then again, since i am unoriginal i could probably get away with still doing it. actually, now i will use brightly colored flowers and a bright picnic blanket. there i've written it...now you can't steal it from me.

after my initial disappointment at my originality being taken from me (now that i think of it, it wasn't even my idea to begin with), i saw these pictures for what they were...amazing.

now, let's be honest, i may be a little biased since i know the photographer personally but i'm sure anyone who sees them will appreciate them. it definitely helps out that jalene is a beautiful girl but even more impressive than that is your ability to capture that on camera.

you know that you've taken good photos when it is hard for me to decide which one i like the best. I say this with all sincerity, i think that you would be a good magazine photographer. you could take pictures of famous people for the articles that are written up about them. The one that makes me thing that the most is the one of her on the washer and drier (or the three washers as the case may be). i just picture it as the cover of an interesting biography of a famous person.

if you decide to go with model photography, the one of jalene with her hand placed against the wall would be a perfect ad for some trendy clothing line (in a good way).

i really like the one with her holding the balloons too. like i said, i have a hard time deciding which one i like most. there are just so many different shapes, colors, contrasts, and lines in the pictures that it holds your eye.

I'll limit my commentating but i have to say that i also really like the 'next attraction' picture. very creative. you could obviously get really 'deep' in the interpretation and say something like, 'the fact that she does not fit with in the frame and the fact that she is standing in front of it, implies that she will not be there for long.' but, i just like to say, 'i like it...a lot'.

great job linds!
