Almost Paradise

What a relaxing week it turned out to be. Why you ask? Because my family's cabin at Bear Lake is a little piece of heaven. In an attempt to share the bliss of this past week, I've compiled the following:

8 Reasons Why Bear Lake Is "A Little Piece of Heaven":

1- the constant serenade of birds in the reeds and cat tails
2- the soothing rush of lake meeting shore
3- the pink blush of the sky when the sun kisses her goodnight
4- the giant moon throwing its glistening reflection across the lake
5- the lullaby of chirping crickets and croaking frogs
6- the valiant attempts of the lightening bugs to mimic the radiant light of the stars
7- the infinite expanse of the sparkling heavens graciously allowing the overwhelming opportunity to realize how very tiny we are
8- the happiness of spending day after day in the company of those who love you most

Summed up into one sentence:
Bear Lake grants the gentle and perpetual prodding of tender mercies and abundant blessings.

They say a picture says a thousand words, so I'll try to keep my narration to a minimum.

So great! What a wonderful family you have -- I always loves seeing pictures of your nieces and nephews and that was fun to hear your brothers singing :)

I feel obligated to comment. I didn't know you had a poet's soul.

Love the pictures! I think Bear Lake will always have a special place in all our hearts. We had a great time up there this year too. We are so blessed to have that place to go to.
