Dislike & Love - Part III

Today I Dislike...

forgetting peoples names
(I never forget a face),

being "too busy",

customer service
(oh-ho so much right now),

the mean lady on the phone that
caused my dislike for customer service,

headaches
and the many things about me and my life
that cause them to visit on a regular basis,

mascots,

trying to eat yogurt with a lump in my throat,

playing indoor soccer
with a massive exercise ball
and a herd of aggressive males,

construction:
walking around it,
driving around it,
and living around it,

bad days.

. . .

Today, I Love...

starting the day with a good workout,

having my Dad's office so close,

big bursts of light that fill my bedroom just as I'm going to sleep
(aka meteors breaking through the atmosphere, as long as they leave us alone)

the tranquility of prayer and knowing that
someone always understands and forgives,

Ibuprofen,

my new calling in my ward
(even though it's hard),

having a holiday to look forward to,

going home,

Rachmaninov's beautiful 18th Variation
from Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini

Madre's tight hugs that make
all the bad stuff melt away,

remembering the bigger picture
and reminding myself not to worry,

hope.

. . .

"You cannot control what happens to you,
but you can control your attitude toward what happens to you,
and in that, you will be mastering change
rather than allowing it to master you."
~Brian Tracy~

Remember to make sure your "Love List" is always longer than your "Dislike List"

...and all things will work together for your good!

I love you, peoples! xoxo

Something that I dislike: when that song ended, thinking it could go on for at least 37 more minutes.

PS - you'd be winning the race of who has the most followers by one, were this a race of who has the most followers.
