The day was rosy, the sun shone bright
The princess frolicked with delight
Her dreams, it seemed, had at last come true
She basked, like a cloud in the sky of blue
But all too soon a dragon came
Her happiness he sought to claim
She whimpered from her palace perch
And in her heart, began a search
For the deeper strength somewhere inside
Her cowering cowardice to subside
