The Truth About Albus Dumbledore

This has been bugging me for a while,
so I thought I'd finally get on imdb and figure it out:

Best Dumbledore ever, in my opinion,
Played by Richard Harris

(My goodness! You honestly can't beat this guy!)

Who also played the part of The Priest in The Count of Monte Cristo

Then, after Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, he unfortunately passed away and his large shoes were left to be filled by the feet of Michael Gambon.

Who, contrary to popular belief does NOT play the part
of Gandalf in The Lord of the Rings. That is, in fact, Ian McKellen.

Whom you may also know as Magneto from X-Men.

Not to be confused with Peter O'Toole or Patrick Stewart or Richard Attenborough or Santa Clause...or any of those amazingly talented old men that tend to look alike.

Phew! Glad we got that solved.

One day I'm going to confront Richard Harris about why he didn't leave some piece of unfinished business laying around on Earth until 2010... I mean REALLY... ;)

JK... kinda... he really was the perfect Dumbledore though!

hahaha Lindsay, I love this! I'm so sad that Richard Harris died. I LOVED him, not just as Dumbledore either.

Thank you for clearing that up for people.

Also, I'm loving all this Harry Potter stuff that keeps cropping up around me without me seeking it out. For instance my sunday nap and sunday night were spent dreaming about Voldemort(it was so terryfying, but so cool) And then someone at work just called and asked for a Professor McGonagall :)

Thank you for making this clear!!! :) I totally thought he was the Magneto guy who is also on The Scarlet Pimpernel (as Chauvelin) with Jane Seymour. Who knew this was all so confusing.
